Hey guys,
I really want to make a youtube tutorial of a song I played, using the 'VIDEO CREATOR' app to make the video.
It's worked many times for me before perfectly, and it's great! But now, the falling notes letter labels do not show in the video creator rendered file, and I have triple checked they are definitely functioning and visible in the actual synthesia app, (which is all the video creator app needs) for the exact same song / file.
For eg.: SCREENSHOT 1 shows how it looks in synthesia, with the falling letter labels perfectly visible and everything perfect.
SCREENSHOT 2 shows the same file, rendered through the video creator app, but now the falling letter labels are missing.
If someone could please give me steps on how to readd the falling letters to become visible in the video creator app renders, I'd greatly appreciate it!
OS: Windows 11
Game Version: 10.9.5903
Video Creator Version: 10.4.4395
Video Creator Renders not showing falling letter labels
When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).
If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.

The Video Creator is old and can't read the settings file for Synthesia 10.9. You should use Synthesia 10.4 to make a settings file that works with the Video Creator.
Try the following:
1. Back up your existing Synthesia settings files. (See the post Re: Video Editor Question?)
2. Download the Synthesia 10.4 zip file and extract the contents to a folder somewhere.
3. Run Synthesia 10.4 and customize the settings the way you want, then close Synthesia.
4. Now try using the Video Creator again.
When you use Synthesia 10.9 again, if you notice any problems with the settings, close Synthesia and restore the settings files that you backed up.
